Red Hat Government Users and Developers Conference

Amentra's Government Program Manager, Kevin Sherry, will be presenting with Rob Cardwell, Vice President of JBoss Enterprise Middleware, at the Red Hat Government Users and Developers Conference on October 7, 2008 in Washington, DC. The session will focus on Flexible Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) utilizing Open Source Solutions.

Open Source solutions have revolutionized Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) architectures and transformed the government's buying power and Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) processes. This session will provide a complete overview of the JBoss enterprise middleware platform including JBoss Enterprise SOA, Portal, ESB, BPM and MetaMatrix. It will highlight the key benefits and value of leveraging open source solutions and SOA within the Federal government. JBoss Enterprise middleware solutions enable government agencies to reap the benefits of a modernized technical portfolio with a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). By leveraging the benefits of enterprise open source in the CPIC process, government bodies can create a flexible and agile IT portfolio while removing the long term burdens of proprietary software, licenses fees and financially restrictive contracts.
