Amentra's CEO Matt Ernst credits a strong team that continues to raise the bar for what can be achieved in terms of driving value to customers. "We are very excited to be named to the Future 50 for the second year in a row."
Each Future 50 winner receives a half page write up in the magazine that includes answers to a questionnaire formulated by Washington SmartCEO's editorial staff. Nominations for Future 50 closed mid-October with over 100 nominations submitted, up 30 percent from 2005.

Washington SmartCEO Magazine is a regional "growing company" publication. We are not news; we are a resource full of smart ideas to help educate, motivate and inspire decision-makers. SmartCEO is read by more than 34,000 business owners in Baltimore and Washington. Each issue contains features, interviews, case studies, columns and other departments designed to help this region's CEOs face the daily challenges of running a business.
SmartCEO believes that a "growing company" is really determined by the spirit, drive and dynamics of a company's owners and managers, rather than by the size of its building, the number of its employees, or its sales volume. That's why our focus is on decision makers from many different-sized businesses. Each month, a variety of businesses in the Greater Baltimore and Greater Washington areas turn to our pages for features, case-study advice and trend analysis, all with a uniquely local flavor. These readers range from younger, dynamic companies, to established multi-generational, family-owned firms. Many of our readers are also involved in companies that are emerging or going public.
